Regulatory and standards bodies

Reader manufacturers
Readers (or RFID interrogators) form one of the key components of any deployment. They can ultimately dictate the overall performance of the entire system; both in terms of RF (tag protocols and air-interface) and middleware software compatibility.
At RFIDiom, our team of expert consultants have a wide knowledge of various reader models, their capabilities, performance levels and of course costs. We have compiled a library of products to suit almost all RFID applications; from hand-held item level inventorying (including barcode scanning) to fully automated industrial portal systems.

RF engineering and antenna design
Most of our expert consultants have a prior background in radio frequency engineering, and are therefore proficient in RF antenna physics. This is an invaluable skill in RFID as it allows us to design, assess and diagnose RF-related issues at all major RFID frequencies (LF to microwave).
We possess in-house antenna design capabilities and are able to out-source antenna development contracts to a select number of external proto-typing and production facilities.
Inlay, tag and silicon suppliers
RFIDiom consultants have a deep understanding of many RFID protocols and systems. Coupled with label and tag performance testing, we have generated a library of tag profiles which can be matched-up against a variety of applications. These range from short-range LF/HF Smart Card applications to long-range UHF Asset-Tracking applications used in Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems.
